Crown Cercon HT
Cercon HT porcelain crowns are high-quality all-ceramic crowns originating from Germany. Like other all-ceramic crowns, Cercon HT crowns consist of two parts:
-
External: It has a Cercon Kiss porcelain coating on the outside, making the teeth naturally white and bright like real teeth while also providing strength and durability.
-
Inside: The frame is made of Zirconium Dioxide.
Cercon HT porcelain crowns are one of the highest-end all-ceramic crown lines, manufactured using modern CAD/CAM technology. This type of crown completely overcomes the disadvantages of metal-ceramic crowns, such as its natural white color, lack of gum discoloration, and no change in tooth color over time.
A proper examination and treatment plan is the first step in the porcelain veneer process that you cannot skip. First, the dentist will check your current oral health and dental condition. If problems such as gingivitis or periodontitis are detected, the dentist will treat them before starting the porcelain veneer procedure
Before applying dental crowns, oral hygiene and disinfection are crucial not only for removing harmful bacteria but also for cleaning and preparing the tooth surface for the crown placement. This ensures a smooth procedure and guarantees the best possible aesthetic results.
At the tooth area where the crown needs to be placed, the dentist will inject a local anesthetic to ensure the patient feels no pain throughout the treatment. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, the dentist will proceed to grind down the tooth into a stump of sufficient size to support the porcelain crown. The natural tooth will be thinned to a certain thickness, appropriate to the tooth’s condition and the dentist’s intended purpose for attaching the porcelain crown.
After the teeth are prepared, the dentist will take impressions and send them to the laboratory at AVORA Dental to fabricate porcelain crowns that fit your jaw perfectly. While waiting for the porcelain crowns, patients can have temporary teeth fitted to fill gaps between teeth and protect the remaining tooth structure.
After attaching the porcelain veneers to your natural teeth, the dentist will carefully check the bite and aesthetics to ensure comfort and durability. In addition, the dentist will schedule follow-up appointments to ensure your veneers are working effectively and to address any issues promptly if necessary.
After the porcelain crown placement is complete, your dentist will provide instructions on oral hygiene. This includes daily cleaning techniques, toothbrush selection, and flossing under the crown. You will also be instructed on how to avoid bad habits that could damage or affect your porcelain crown.
Additionally, the dentist will schedule follow-up appointments to check the effectiveness of the dental crowns and determine if any adjustments or further treatment are needed. Regular follow-up appointments are extremely important to ensure that your dental crowns remain stable and to maintain good oral health.
