Ceramill porcelain teeth are a non-metal ceramic line highly regarded for their aesthetics, durability, and a strength capacity five times greater than natural teeth. Therefore, this type of porcelain is often chosen by customers for full-mouth restorations, providing a naturally white, even smile while ensuring chewing function remains unaffected.
1. What are Ceramill Porcelain Teeth? Which country are they from?
Ceramill porcelain teeth were born in 2009, created and developed by the Amann Girrbach Germany group. This is one of the first all-ceramic lines to apply automated 3D CAD/CAM technology, helping to craft porcelain models that are precise, exquisitely beautiful, and highly color-durable.
Ceramill teeth have a two-layer structure: an internal framework made of Zirconia and an external Ceramill Kiss porcelain enamel layer. Notably, these teeth do not contain any metal components.
The color of Ceramill porcelain is naturally translucent white. Additionally, they integrate a gloss that simulates natural enamel and dentin exactly.

2. How many types of Ceramill porcelain teeth are there?
There are currently two main types of Ceramill porcelain teeth on the market: Ceramill Zolid and Ceramill Zi. Both are all-ceramic and contain no metal.
-
Ceramill Zolid: The framework is made of Zircon Oxide, which is hard and fired at high temperatures. As a result, these teeth meet human chewing needs very well. The color is naturally translucent white and does not cause gum darkening or yellowing over time.

-
Ceramill Zi: The framework is composed mainly of Zirconia in the Y-TZP ZrO2 form. These are highly rated for their superior features, high durability, and strength.

3. Are Ceramill porcelain teeth good?
Ceramill porcelain teeth possess the following outstanding advantages:
-
High Aesthetics: Naturally white color and high translucency, looking exactly like real teeth. They do not cause “black gum lines” like metal-based porcelain teeth.
-
Extreme Durability: With a bending strength of up to 1100 MPa (5 times stronger than natural teeth), they allow for comfortable chewing without fear of chipping or breaking.
-
Biocompatibility: 100% metal-free, ensuring they do not cause irritation, gingivitis, or bad breath.
-
High Precision: Manufactured using CAD/CAM technology, ensuring a perfect fit to the tooth stump, limiting food traps and bacteria.

-
Thin and Lightweight: The porcelain material is very thin (0.2 – 0.3mm), so it does not require much tooth grinding, maximizing the preservation of natural teeth.
-
Long Lifespan: Can last 15–20 years, or even a lifetime with proper care.
